Impact Wells for Landfill Gas Monitoring & Control
Impact Wells
On sites where landfill gas control is required as an interim requirement the answer is Dragon Drilling imact wells.
Installed using a 6m steel pin, by a 36 Tonne excavator, the impact wells can be installed for interim control of landfill gas on exposed 
flanks or other areas of the site requiring landfill gas control until conventional landfill gas boreholes can be installed.
Impact wells have also been used for evaluation of the extent of underground fires on landfill sites as part of a troubleshooting service for dealing with this intractable problem.
